The Science of Snow

This week’s snowfall on the east coast led to several days coverage of how heavy snowfall disproves climate change. While this absurd argument was taken at face value by most of the media, a few reporters fell back on their 6th grade education to rebut the factious claim. Simply put one isolated event does not prove or disprove any theory. Birds don’t disprove gravity, monkeys don’t disprove evolution and falling meteors don’t disprove the existence of our atmosphere. But politicians will be politicians, and they won’t let elementary science get in the way of pushing their agendas.
